Travel medical insurance applies to international visitors coming to the United States, US domestic visitors traveling to a foreign country and international visitors traveling to any foreign country. This travel medical insurance is available on an individual and group basis and can be purchased for as little as 15 days to 12 months.

The average maximum limit ranges from $50,000 to $1,000,000 for individuals who are over 14 days old and under the age of 70 years. If you are 70-79 years of age, the overall maximum limit is $50,000 and if you are age 80 or older the maximum is $10,000. Various deductibles are also available from $100 to $2,500.
